What is a CPO Mazda?
A certified pre-owned Mazda is a Mazda that is not older than six years old and has fewer than 80,000 on the odometer. Not every Mazda can be part of this program because Mazda sets the standards very high for their CPO vehicles. The vehicles are put through a very strict inspection to ensure they're in good condition on the interior and exterior. The inspection covers 160 different areas, which include:
- Speedometer and tachometer
- Correct VIN number
- Door and window locks
- All technology and safety features
- Engine
- Transmission
- Exhaust
- Brakes
- Suspension system
- Heating/Cooling system
If the vehicle doesn't pass inspection for whatever reason, it is repaired or reconditioned and re-inspected until it does pass inspection. Only certified Mazda technicians work on the vehicles, and original Mazda parts are used in the vehicles.
