Mazda Closes Out RX-8 Production With Special Edition

With tightening restrictions on fuel economy and emissions, car makers have been getting a little, well, creative to make their cars more efficient. For example, early next year, Mazda will introduce the 2012 Mazda CX-5. And, aside from being a highly-anticipated new model from the Japanese automaker, it will be the first production vehicle to implement ultra-high tensile steel in its framework.

Mazda Teams Up With TomTom for Navigation

When the 2013 Mazda models hit the showroom floor, they'll come with a little extra guidance. Worldwide GPS navigation company TomTom is working with Mazda to provide navigational systems for the MAZDA3 and the forthcoming MAZDA CX-5

Netherlands based TomTom will provide these new models with connections to its navigation solution, enabling dynamic routing based on live traffic updates.
